The below script will tell which session is holding the lock
select
c.owner,
c.object_name,
c.object_type,
b.sid,
b.serial#,
b.status,
b.osuser,
b.machine
from
v$locked_object a ,
v$session b,
dba_objects c
where
b.sid = a.session_id
and
a.object_id = c.object_id
/
The below command is used to kill the session from oracle
ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION 'SID,Searial#' IMMEDIATE ;
ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION '1626,19894' IMMEDIATE ;
ALTER SYSTEM DISCONNECT SESSION '13, 8' IMMEDIATE ;
